Professor, Tenure Track -Internal Medicine-Administration

Essential Job Functions This position will be part of the CHI at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston, a new Center formed in partnership between the School of Medicine and UTMB Health in 2021. CHI has a tri-partite mission of catalyzing rigorous research, helping UTMB to continue to evolve into a learning health system, and enhancing population health in South‑East Texas. We are recruiting faculty to help build the Center. Competitive candidates will be expected to have a history of independent research funding and a deep commitment to applied research that has impact at the level of the patient, healthcare system, or population. He/she will also have a strong interest in mentoring junior faculty and fellows. Applicants will also be expected to have a demonstrable track record working on multi‑disciplinary teams.
