Role Overview As a Unit Secretary, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of your assigned unit by handling all clerical and reception duties. You will support healthcare professionals, patients, and their families, contributing to a positive and efficient patient experience. Your work is essential in maintaining the high standards of care that define Henry Ford Health. What You Will Do Manage all clerical and reception duties for your assigned unit. Ensure smooth communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support unit operations. Follow the Henry Ford Health Systems Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. One year of experience in a healthcare setting such as a medical office, hospital, or laboratory. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a unit secretary.
