Location: Remote CONUS; Atlanta onsite sessions as needed

Project Overview: Support GDOT&# ;s approximately 7 TB SharePoint Server 2019 to SharePoint Online/M365 GCC migration and modernization, including legacy WSP solutions, CEWP pages, Quest Quick Apps, workflows, integrations, and DOT Teams applications.

Required Qualifications: 8+ years of SharePoint development and 3+ years of SPFx experience. Must have hands-on experience converting SharePoint farm solutions (.WSP), custom web parts, and CEWP/script pages into SPFx components. Microsoft certification, such as M365 Certified: Developer Associate, is required.

Required Technical Skills: SharePoint Framework (SPFx), TypeScript, React, Node.js, PnP JS, PnP PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, legacy C# server-side SharePoint development, WSP, event receivers, timer jobs, handlers, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Azure DevOps/Git CI/CD, Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA.

Responsibilities: Analyze and refactor WSP farm solutions, CEWPs, and Quest Quick Apps into SPFx web parts/extensions; establish coding standards and conduct code reviews; lead ALM pipeline activities; replace event receivers and timer jobs with Azure Functions or Power Automate; rebuild DOT Teams repository applications; ensure accessibility compliance; prepare deployment packages and instructions; hand over source code and train GDOT developers.

Mandatory: CONUS-based, 8 AM 5 PM ET availability, GDOT background check, GDOT-issued equipment, onsite availability as needed, resume, certification, and 2 professional references. State Government experience strongly preferred.
