Social Media/Content Assistant for Chandler Truck Accessories & Starwood Customs

We're looking for a Social Media & Content Assistant to help support the day-to-day social media needs of Chandler Truck Accessories and Starwood Customs.

This is a hands-on support role focused on consistency, organization, scheduling, and helping capture more of what is happening day to day across both brands.

The right person is comfortable being around trucks, manufacturing shops, and people, has a good understanding of aftermarket truck accessories and the pickup truck/automotive industry, can recognize when something is worth grabbing a quick photo or video of, and understands how to create content that feels natural and fits the creative direction of each brand.

This role will work closely with Marketing and Sales and report to the Brand Manager.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish approved social media content across CTA and Starwood.
• Help maintain social media calendars and a consistent presence across both brands.
• Post Stories, routine updates, and other day-to-day content.
• Capture photos and videos of trucks, products, installs, shop activities, and behind-the-scenes moments that align with the strategic and creative direction of the brands.
• Edit basic short-form video.
• Organize content so it is easy to find and reuse.
• Help make sure both brands maintain a consistent posting cadence.
• Monitor comments, messages, tags, and mentions and flag anything that needs follow-up from Marketing, Sales, or another team member.
• Find customer content, UGC, and other opportunities we may want to repost.
• Help schedule and publish content tied to campaigns, promotions, and product launches using created or supplied content.
• Keep an eye on performance across social media channels by monitoring key metrics such as engagement, views, and reach, and bring worthwhile observations, ideas, or opportunities to Marketing.
• Occasionally assist with social coverage at events, product installation videos, and other content as needed.

Schedule & Work Location

• Regular availability 5 days out of the week.
• The role will be split between Chandler Truck Accessories and Starwood Customs based on content needs and priorities.
• In-office/on-site preferred since this is a hands-on content role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being around the team and wants to be involved in what's happening day to day.
• Some flexibility may be available depending on workload, content needs, events, or scheduled projects.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledgeable about using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Comfortable shooting photos and videos with a phone or other equipment.
• Basic short-form video and photo editing skills.
• Organized and able to stay on top of content and schedules.
• Good judgment around what should and shouldn't be posted.
• Able to follow an established brand style and voice.
• Willing to learn and take direction.
• Comfortable working independently on routine tasks.
• Comfortable being around shop environments, manufacturing facilities, trucks, and vehicles.
• Reliable and able to keep projects moving without constant reminders.

Professional social media experience is helpful, but this is intended to be an entry-level role. We're more interested in finding someone with good instincts, creativity, organization, and a willingness to learn and work with a team.
