Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs and identify their strengths and challenges.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, tailoring each intervention to meet the unique cultural and personal needs of clients.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, ensuring regular monitoring and adjustments based on client progress.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and seamless integration of mental health services.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services, which may include performing risk assessments and formulating safety plans for at-risk clients.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ rights and connect them with relevant community resources and follow up for case management support.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Clients may present with a wide array of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will play a vital role in addressing these challenges and fostering resilience in our community.

Qualifications\n

• An accredited Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated understanding and application of cultural competence in working with diverse populations.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community mental health setting or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
