Requirements FIXED Contract Length Needed: 6-8 months military leave Shift Details: Days – Monday thru Friday OR M/T/Th clinic W Admin F 7am-4:30pm rounding on mornings and occasional weekends Schedule: How many days/week do we anticipate? See above. Work Details: • Support staff: for clinic day = 1 clinical support staff • Amount of coverage needed per month: See schedule above. • Patients per day: clinic = 20-25 patients • Patient population/age: Orthopedic patients mostly teenage and adult but no age restriction • Department description: Orthopedics • EMR: EPIC Excellian • Hospital bed size: 34 • Special procedures: first assist in OR for total joint replacements fracture repairs foot/ankle shoulder knee hip hand/wrist general Orthopedics • Skills required: OR assist clinic experience casting/splinting/DME application joint injections Requirements: • Board Certification: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire OR Licensed Registered Nurse for NP – Minnesota Board of Nursing upon hire • License required: MN license PA or NP • DEA: yes • CSR: yes • Certifications preferred: • Certifications required: BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days Certification as Physician Assistant - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required Certified Nurse Practitioner ANCC or equivalent PA certification within specialty upon hire • Minimum experience required: 1 year experience 1 year OR experience required prior Orthopedic/sports medicine experience preferred Shift Info: Night 5x8-Hour 19:00 - 07:00
