CMT Equipment Calibration Technician- Houston

National Calibration Inc was established in 1955 and is a growing full-service ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration Laboratory with multiple offices throughout the Southwestern United States. It is a family-owned business based in Scottsdale, AZ with openings in Houston, TX. Job Overview We are looking for motivated Calibration Technicians to work in a fast‑paced, quality‑first environment. The role involves calibration, repair, and quality assurance of test and measurement equipment, including electronics, force, linear, torque, pressure, weight, and nuclear gauges. Responsibilities Perform calibrations, repairs, and quality checks on equipment, following ISO 17025 standards. Prepare calibration reports in accordance with ASTM/ASME specifications. Review data for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with Corporate Office and Regional Manager for operational requirements. Learn and apply proper calibration techniques, theory, and quality processes. Requirements Experience with construction materials testing (soils, concrete, masonry, hot mix asphalt) preferred. Strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and detailed writing skills. Basic math and writing proficiency. Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically. Willingness to learn ISO 17025 and quality system procedures. Willingness to develop calibration templates, procedures, and guidelines. Willingness to maintain, repair, and calibrate physical/dimensional and basic electronics test equipment. Clean driving record. Pre‑employment drug screening. Require up to 50% or more travel.
