Software Product Lead - F35 - Level 5

Role Responsibilities Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions. Apply standards and tools throughout the development life cycle. Collaborate with development teams to verify adherence to plans and deliver measurable business benefits. Deliver software products to the customer and define the future direction for software product managers. Interface with developers, customers, and key team members to define automation efforts, improve processes, and leverage infrastructure to enable frequent delivery with high quality. Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions. Ensure software standards are met and maintain documentation and operating instructions. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 12 years of professional experience (or 14 years with a Master’s degree) in software development. Expert authority in software development discipline. Exceptional written, oral, electronic, and public communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality. Experience working in teams in a fast‑paced dynamic environment. Proficiency with Agile Scrum, Jira, and standard development tools. Knowledge of PM‑4001 and processes used for F‑35. Ability to interface and communicate with customers. Must be a US Citizen and hold or obtain an Interim Secret clearance at start. Security Clearance Secret clearance required. US Citizen required.
