Events Coordinator

University of Toledo is hiring a Events Coordinator to join the Rocket Career Center team, leading data management, event logistics, and administration of the university's Handshake career platform. The coordinator plans career fairs, employer events, and workshops from registration through post-event reporting, while also reviewing and approving employers, jobs, and postings in Handshake. The role blends detail-oriented data work with day-to-day office administration for students, faculty, staff, and external partners. Highlights Leads data management, event logistics, and Handshake platform administration for the Rocket Career Center Plans and coordinates career fairs, employer events, workshops, and presentations from registration through post-event reporting Reviews and approves employers, job postings, and career fairs within Handshake Troubleshoots Handshake issues for students, staff, and employers Builds and maintains reports through Handshake Analytics Manages departmental budgets and purchasing, and tracks financial transactions for events Serves as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and external partners Supports the Center's communications and web content Requires Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat; Handshake, Canva, and Modern Campus CMS experience preferred Requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of related work experience, or a combination of education and experience Pays starting at $18.71 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
