Locum Opportunity For A Diagnostic Radiologist

Great locum opportunity for a Diagnostic Radiologist in Northern California. This role offers a steady weekday schedule with no call, focusing on diagnostic reads and breast imaging procedures.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8a4p (no call)

Start Date: January (1 week every other month for 69 months)

Setting: Outpatient clinic

Focus: Reading studies across all modalities, diagnostic mammograms, and breast biopsies

Required procedures: Mammography, PET reads, and breast biopsies

EMR: Cerner

Support: Radiology techs, US techs, full staff support

Reason for coverage: Physician resignation

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiology Required

California License Required

Residency completed (no specific fellowship required)

Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms & breast biopsies Required

BLS, ACLS & DEA active during credentialing Required

Clean malpractice preferred

Must be available at time of name clear

One week every other month (rotating with another physician)

Day shift only (8a4p), no call

90120 days credentialing required

Mammography: ~225 screening mammos & 30 diagnostic mammos per month

Breast procedures: ~13/month (wire loc, biopsy, etc.)

Additional reads: CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI, PET (as able)

Option to send certain cases to teleradiology if needed
