Licensed Vocational Nurse

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in a state hospital located in Brenham, TX. We are looking for strong nurses that are fast learners and able to adapt quickly to changes as they will be floating to different units on campus. Pay Rate $40.10/hr Schedule 5:45a-2:15p or 1:45p-10:15p or 9:45p-6:15a 40-hours/week Term of assignment 6 months Working 8-hour shifts and 3 weekends out of the month Job Duties Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation. Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, WCY Policy and Directives and Standards, Rules and Directives. Requirements Must possess valid LVN license Must comply with facility immunization requirements Must submit required drug test Must submit required fingerprinting Must complete facility required training Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid) Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid) Voluntary Life/AD&D: Additional coverage options available for employees, spouses and children (100% employee paid) Company 401(k)plans with eligibility from the 1 st day of the month following hire.
