General Laborer- Backstand Technician

, you’ll play a critical role in converting large paper roll stock into cut-size paper, preparing materials, operating machinery, and keeping your workspace clean and efficient. This is more than an entry-level position ---

Continue building your skills and experience: Packaging Technician $28.54/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium Operator $30.91/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium Team Leader $34.48/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium Gain experience. Build your skills. Take the next step in your career. General Laborer (Backstand Technician) Key Responsibilities Roll stripping, prepping, and loading. Operate cutting and other hand tools and perform physical lifting safely. Follow written or electronic operating procedures. Maintain general housekeeping standards and perform basic maintenance duties. Work safely and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) As you progress to Material Handler, additional responsibilities include: Follow material transporting & stacking guidelines Support Shipping & Receiving operations, including railcars & trailers. Operate Powered Industrial Trucks, including Fork Truck Clamp Truck Dual Fork Truck Bale Clamp Truck Aerial Work Platform. Properly use hoists and dollies. Load and unload trucks, lay rolls, move pallets and other heavy materials. Complete daily safety inspections and maintain work areas. Uphold standards in safety, quality, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Mechanical aptitude or previous industrial experience preferred. Able to perform physical tasks and work 12-hour rotating shifts. Basic skills in math, reading, writing, and computer use. Team orientated with a strong commitment to
