The Milling Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer specifications. Based on experience, earn up to $30+ per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS (paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment). AND the opportunity earn even more money per hour with our Production Incentive Bonus Program!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate mills and controller
• Milling rolls to customer blueprint specification
• Inspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprint
• Reporting all deviations from customer blueprint specifications
• Perform other department duties, as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
• Must be able to work any shift

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous milling experience required
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
• Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration
