Mechanical Inspector

Overview Industry: Aerospace/Defense Position: Experienced Mechanical Inspector (back-up) Location: (Cheswick, Cornwall, Philadelphia) Pennsylvania and (Baltimore) Maryland region Duration: On-going contract - On-demand Frequency: Average 20 Hours *More hours are available if open to travel to support out-of-state inspections. *Open to travel (NY, KY, etc.) and last-minute requests from demanding suppliers. Responsibilities Mechanical Source Inspectors: Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirements. Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage.
