Job Description
Job Opportunity Position Details We are seeking a qualified candidate for a night shift position in sterile processing. This role requires a commitment to block scheduling and involves working from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Job Requirements
- Must have sterile processing experience.
- Certification required (CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA).
- Experience with robotic instrumentation is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Must possess a valid compact state license at the time of submission.
- Total Staffed Beds: 418
- Scrub Color: Any color (OR/L&D scrubs provided; Micro Bio Tech requires business appropriate street clothes with a lab coat provided)
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: No fee
- Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Request for time off must be submitted upfront during the application process.
- Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities.
- Cleaning and disinfection of equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps)
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
- Use of washers and sterilizers
- Case cart management
- Proper selection and application of wrapping materials for sterilization
- Assembly of surgical sets and trays
- Biological and chemical indicators monitoring
- Experience with various specialties including Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and Robotics
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
