Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, working directly with students who benefit from dedicated, hands-on support. This contract position spans two high schools and an elementary school, beginning September 8, 2026, and continuing through June 17, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. You'll split your time between two campuses, with half your week spent at each location—one primarily supporting students in special education, the other focused on assisting with socialization skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Previous experience in school settings is preferred.
• Interest or experience in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) highly valued; training is available if you’re eager to learn.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 33 students participating in life skills programming.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group SLP services in line with student IEPs.
• Work independently on-site, while maintaining regular communication and collaboration with a supportive SLP team through virtual check-ins and monthly meetings.
• Partner with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom assistants to promote students’ communication and functional skills.
• Provide expertise in feeding, swallowing, and AAC when indicated.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
