Position Schedule Full‑time Opportunity Overview As a Senior Practice Strategy Consultant, you will transform wealth management practices by bringing a strategic, forward‑thinking mindset with a client‑centric approach. You will partner directly with branch teams to unlock growth, strengthen leadership structures, and build enduring, high‑performing organizations. Reporting to the Director, Practice Strategy Consultation, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding teams through pivotal moments such as expansion, organizational redesign, and succession planning. In this role you will lead sophisticated discovery engagements, translate complex data into clear insights, and deliver customized, actionable recommendations grounded in best‑in‑class practice management standards. Your influence will drive measurable business results, shape the evolution of consulting offerings, and help practices move from vision to execution. Job Responsibilities You will collaborate closely as a team player, partnering across internal and external stakeholders to ensure every engagement aligns with firm priorities while delivering exceptional value to branch teams. You will influence, advise, and drive change with senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops and discovery sessions, and support practice growth, organizational design, operational efficiency, or succession planning. Required Qualifications Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including business models, compensation structures, client service strategies, and financial planning processes Demonstrated business and financial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into actionable recommendations Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills Proven ability to influence, advise, and drive change with senior stakeholders Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and deliver clear, impactful messages Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, consultative environment High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism Travel may be required Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of practice management standards, team design, client service models, branch operations, and market dynamics Experience supporting practice growth, organizational design, operational efficiency, or succession planning Strong facilitation and consulting skills, including leading workshops or discovery sessions Prior experience working in or consulting for wealth management practice CFP, ChFC, or CEPA certification Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline Master's degree preferred 6 to 10 years minimum experience, preferred 11 to 14 years Licenses & Certifications Series 7 and Series 66 Salary Hiring Minimum: $101,700 Hiring Maximum: $173,200 Benefits Edward Jones offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness), short‑ and long‑term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage (the last four are provided at no cost).
