Location : Lower Manhattan (Seaport District)
Compensation : $22–$25/hour | Full-Time | PM & Brunch Availability Required
The Paris Cafe in the Seaport District is building a strong, disciplined kitchen team. We’re looking for line cooks who can take ownership of their station, work with urgency, and execute consistently throughout service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare mise en place and fully set up for your own station for service
- Run your station throughout service, executing every dish to high standards in an organized manner
- Be reliable, punctual, and respectful
- Uphold cleanliness of the kitchen in line with NYC DOH standards as well as our own standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year cooking experience
- Understanding / Execution of proper NYC DOH sanitation standards
- Positive attitude in the workplace, with a willingness to follow directions
- Ability to work and keep your workspace clean and uphold the standards of the restaurant
- Ability to work/stand for 8-10 hours a day and to carry up to 20lbs occasionally
- Ability to work brunch, nights and holidays as required
