Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. License: Not specified. Certifications: BLS, RDCS/RCS, RVT, CCI Certification accepted. Dual Certification Required. Must-Have: Must have RDCS/RCS and RVT certifications. Experience in TTE and vascular studies is required. Must have vascular experience including LEVs, LEAs, ABIs, carotids, UEAs, UEVs, and groin duplex (pseudoaneurysm).

Description: This position requires dual certification. The Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer will work roughly 36 hours a week from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The daily caseload per tech is 10-12 cases. There is no on-call or weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. It is important for travelers not to confirm new or extended assignments during hurricane season. This role will not require floating between service lines or to sister facilities. RTO must be included at the time of submission, and all requests must be approved based on facility needs. The facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Modules are non-billable and average four hours. Completing pre-start modules is required. The facility prioritizes non-local candidates first. All candidates must adhere to local radius rules regarding submission. This role encourages a collaborative work environment with interdisciplinary support.
