Store Manager

Position Overview If you are interested in growing your retail management career with one of the largest and fastest‑growing off‑price retailers in the nation, the Burlington Stores team invites you to apply for Store Manager. As a Store Manager you will be responsible for all store operations, maximizing sales results and embodying "Our Burlington" values. You will serve as a mentor, coach, and role model, leading by example to provide a world‑class shopping experience and oversee day‑to‑day merchandising, operations, and service management. Responsibilities Directly manage Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of company policies, standards, and initiatives. Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing. Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Operations to review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, returns‑to‑vendor, and chargeback paperwork for inventory accuracy. Act as Manager on Duty (MOD); lead by example, set standards, and model Burlington SOPs. Manage sales volume and expense budget, including reviewing all associated reporting and record‑keeping. Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet store staffing needs. Facilitate onboarding and training for new associates, provide ongoing coaching, and implement structured learning and development activities. Handle personnel and associate relations issues. Manage payroll budget, workforce scheduling, and scheduling software. Facilitate effective communication and partnerships among the store team, district and regional management teams, and other company partners. Qualifications 5+ years of retail management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software. Travel may be required from time to time. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to drive results, build teams, and cultivate a culture based on trust, respect, and integrity. Compensation & Benefits Compensation range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 . Benefits include: Competitive wage and flexible hours. Associate discount on merchandise.
