Job Summary
The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a CNA, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Help residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
- Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
- Ensure residents' rooms are clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
- Support residents with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.
Qualifications
- Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Previous long-term care or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
