About the Opportunity:• Job Title: CNC Operator• Pay Rate Range: $22.00-$27.00/hr• Location: Minneapolis, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED.• Prefer 2-year technical/business degree or equivalent experience.• 1-3 years experience operating manual machining equipment.• Strong verbal, oral and written communication skills.• Excellent communication skills.• Strong problem-solving skills.• Excellent blueprint reading capabilities.• Excellent shop math skills.• Ability to work within tight deadlines.• Ability to demonstrate and apply our workplace values.• Flexibilityto travel between multiple locations.• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working.• Welding skills a plus.• Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting may be required throughout the workday.Duties and Responsibilities:• Set up and operate CNC Router.• Set up and operate Manual Mill.• Set up and operate Manual lathe.• Operate various pedestal grinders, buffers, and wire wheels.• Perform tasks while ensuring safety requirements are met.• Responsible for daily production and ensures that work is completed on-time and within quality standards.• Responsible for documenting accuracy and ensuring all inspection criteria are met.• Perform equipment maintenance as recommended.• May be asked to work in other departments as required by the business.• Performs other duties as assigned.• Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment.• Follows all safety and workplace policies.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
