Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across the patient population served.
- Screen patients and establish or adjust therapeutic goals in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based interventions, and document progress and outcomes.
- Provide direct therapy and consult with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, strategies to support communication, and swallowing safety.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record and comply with regulatory and facility guidelines.

Requirements
- Current license to practice Speech Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure in the practice location.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (standard entry requirement for the role).
- Experience in acute care or similar healthcare settings preferred.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week for the 13-week assignment and fulfill the listed shift.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
