About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to provide strategic leadership and oversight of business development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the growth strategy, establishing and managing performance goals, and driving growth that enhances profitability and productivity. This role requires a strong background in healthcare sales management, with a focus on partnering with healthcare providers to support a seamless continuum of care and identify new growth pathways. The VP will also be a key collaborative partner to various teams, ensuring integrated performance and supporting enterprise initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' of healthcare sales management experience and 5 years' of healthcare sales experience, with a working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement in hospice and home health care. The role demands demonstrated expertise in personnel management, leadership, and financial management, as well as strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to lead change. The VP will be expected to set clear, measurable goals for the business development team, provide strategic coaching, and ensure the team is engaged in quality, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. A Bachelor's degree in business, a health profession, or a related field is preferred, and a Licensed Registered Nurse is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding financial targets and be adept at balancing short-term needs with long-range plans.
