We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for providing intake, eligibility determination, orientation, and enrollment services to support customer engagement, program participation, and successful workforce and training outcomes.Successful ElementsServe as an initial point of contact for walk-in, phone, online, and referred participants by providing information on available programs and servicesConduct online and in-person intake, assessment, orientation, and eligibility determination processes for WIOA programsVerify financial and eligibility documentation, complete enrollment packets, and ensure accurate data entry and updates in CWDS and other designated tracking systemsAssess customer job readiness, training interests, barriers, and service needs using assessment tools, including CASAS, as appropriateDevelop customer service plans that address identified barriers, establish resolution strategies, and outline targeted outcomes and achievement timelinesSupport Career Resource Center operations by assisting customers with job search activities, resource navigation, computer usage, and access to workforce and training servicesEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma required; associate degree or some college preferredDemonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAble to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environmentClean driving record, valid Driver's License, and reliable vehicle requiredBring your expertise to EDSI where you will be able to live our values every day: Show Up, Smile and Support!EDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
