The Signia by Hilton Atlanta is searching for a Cook IIto join the culinary team!This is a976-room property with over 140000 sq. banquet space and eight unique Food and Beverage outlets. This individual will be focused on supporting Capolinea our signature fine-dining restaurant. Our menu offers both traditional Italian and contemporary American cuisines including delectable handmade pastas prime-cut steaks and tableside martini service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of line cook experience. Seeking someone who has a positive attitude and and strong attention to detail. Prior fine dining restaurant experience highly preferred.

Shift Pattern: PM focused with typical shift hours from 2-10pm. Weekend and holiday availability required.

What will I be doing

As a Cook ll you would be responsible for preparing cold food items in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare cold food items including but not limited to salads fruits dressings fish items and appetizers according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
• Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
