The Lead Esthetician assists by overseeing all treatment aspects of the spa and assisting service providers. Provides relaxing and thorough facials, and body treatments to guests of the spa that uphold the standards of the Four Seasons Hotel. Essential functions include: following all standards set in place by Four Seasons for sequence of service, utilizing Book4Time and/or any computerized applications, cleaning and properly flipping the treatment room after each service, maintaining a neat and quiet work area at all times, maintaining a well-stocked treatment room at the end of each shift, having knowledge of each area of the Spa and Fitness Center and providing information to guests about services offered in the Spa as well as the Hotel, performing all treatments assigned to your shift, complying with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook, having knowledge of retail offerings and being prepared to make appropriate recommendations to guests, providing professional facials and body treatments for any guest/resident, responding appropriately in any hotel emergency or safety situation, performing other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff, adhering to meal break policy and following proper payroll procedures, creating a team of service providers to meet all aspects of professionalism and service demands through hand-on training and coordination of vendor trainings, maintaining a fully staffed department by recruiting, interviewing, training and assist with scheduling service provider staff, responsible for end of month manual inventory of product, responsible for maintaining par levels for professional product, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards including all spa treatment rooms, and dispensary. Knowledge and skills include: education, high school degree required, current State of New York Esthetics or Cosmetology License, experience, minimum of 5 years of experience as Esthetician in a luxury spa setting, number of employees supervised, 15, travel required, none, hours required, must be able to work holidays and weekends at 40 hours a week.
