Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Inspector role based in Jennings, IN. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on fabricated components, welds, structural steel, tanks, vessels, and piping to verify compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and Greenberry’s quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and documentation, conducting visual and dimensional inspections, completing inspection reports, and supporting non‑destructive examination activities as needed. The role collaborates closely with production, engineering, and project management teams to resolve quality issues, prevent defects, and support continuous improvement. The inspector also helps maintain quality records, participate in audits, and uphold safety and regulatory requirements in all inspection activities. Qualifications Candidates should possess experience with quality inspection in industrial fabrication or construction environments, including structural steel, piping, vessels, or related components. Candidates should possess skills in interpreting engineering drawings, weld maps, specifications, and relevant industry codes or standards (such as ASME, AISC, or similar). Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, visual and dimensional inspection skills, and the ability to accurately document findings and prepare quality reports. Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production teams, supervisors, and project managers to address nonconformances and corrective actions. Candidates should possess a commitment to safety, adherence to quality management systems, and willingness to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). Experience with ISO 9001 or comparable quality systems, and basic proficiency in common office and reporting software, are advantageous.
