Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
• BLS certification.
• Two years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Experience with PET/CT imaging.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic charting system.
• Ability to complete a 12-hour orientation as required by the client.
• Availability for 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Preferred: Prior hospital-based PET/CT unit experience.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: PET/CT.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift pattern: 5 x 8 hour days, Monday through Friday.
• Orientation: 12 hours required.
• Assignment duration: 13 week assignment starting mid-May.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
• Charting system: Cerner.
• Client cancellation allowance: facility may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment as outlined by the client.
