Maintenance Electrician

Job Details Division: Nucor Steel Marion, Inc. Location: Marion, OH, United States Potential Annual Income: $90K - $130K, including weekly production bonus. Basic Job Functions Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade all types of production equipment, including motors, drives, cranes, controls, and instruments. Work on process improvement projects. Provide electrical support to operations. Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required. Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Minimum Qualifications Fundamental understanding of electrical theory. Experience troubleshooting low voltage (≤600VAC) motors and controllers. Experience troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, process control devices, and VFDs. 3+ years’ experience in industrial or military electrical maintenance. Preferred Qualifications 2-year or 4-year degree in electrical or related field. Experience maintaining overhead cranes. Exposure to electrical substation equipment and maintenance practices. Prior steel industry experience in electrical maintenance. Good mechanical knowledge. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Nucor Marion will not sponsor a visa.
