Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality & Food Safety Supervisor to oversee quality control processes, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures in a fast-paced packaging and production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, food safety compliance, and team leadership, with the ability to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain high-quality standards throughout daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality control inspections and ensure products meet established quality and food safety standards.
• Implement and maintain food safety programs, including HACCP, Food Defense, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor sanitation, cleaning procedures, and employee hygiene practices to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures, policies, and documentation.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations throughout the production process.
• Identify quality or food safety issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze inspection results, track quality performance, and prepare reports for management.
• Maintain accurate records related to quality control, food safety, sanitation, and compliance.
• Train, supervise, and support quality control personnel to ensure consistent execution of procedures.
• Collaborate with production and management teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, food safety, or a related supervisory role.
• Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, Food Defense, sanitation, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
• Experience conducting quality inspections, audits, and implementing corrective actions.
• Knowledge of applicable food safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience supervising or leading a quality control team.
• Experience in food packaging, manufacturing, or production operations.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.

Work Environment

This position operates in a production and packaging environment and requires regular interaction with production personnel and management to maintain quality, sanitation, and food safety standards.
