We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Summary: As a key member of the property’s golf operations team, the Cart Attendant reports directly to the General Manager or Golf Shop Supervisor and attends to the golf cart fleet as well as other duties as directed. Position Responsibilities: Maintains professional appearance Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as required Cleans and maintains cart barn Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times Receives and communicates complains to the Golf Shop Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Must have strong customer/guest orientation Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement) Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
