You'll be responsible for assisting with procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring patient records are up to date, all while providing compassionate, high-quality care. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment and contribute to improving the health and well-being of patients in both primary care and obesity management settings.Schedule: This role requires availability for a rotating weekday shift based on business needs, scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM ETEMR: AthenaLocation: Primarily Needham, MA but may include travel to a different greater Boston clinic based on staffing or business needs.Responsibilities:Patient reception: Greet patients and other visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, verify patient details, and collect co-payments / patient responsibility.Clinical tasks: Take vitals, gather patient histories, and assist with clinical procedures (e.g., EKGs, body composition scans, and phlebotomy).Clinic flow: Support smooth transitions between check-in, exam rooms, and check-out.Patient follow-up and care coordination: Update patient records, order testing, coordinate with external facilities, and review test results with clinicians.Patient communication: Triage and respond to inbox messages to ensure patients receive appropriate support between visits.
