Elementary Principal

The Rivendell Interstate School Board invites qualified candidates to apply for the Westshire Elementary School principal position. Rivendell Interstate School District serves approximately 400 students across three schools and prides itself on providing academically flourishing, creative programs while achieving educational equity for our socio-economically diverse student population. We seek a building-based Westshire Elementary principal, to team closely and collaborate with the Rivendell Academy and Samuel Morey principals. Our next leader will provide a strong education based on solid foundational math and literacy, equity, authenticity, innovation, curiosity, active student engagement, and academic excellence. Successful candidates will be highly skilled team builders and excellent communicators with strong records of family and community outreach. Responsibilities include implementing a curriculum ensuring success for all in literacy, math, science, and civics; supervising and evaluating licensed teaching staff and support personnel; and developing and maintaining student support systems to ensure positive student behavior, identify and meet student needs, and assure safety of the school community.
