The Orange East Supervisory Union (OESU) seeks an experienced, visionary, and student-centered leader to serve as the next Principal of Thetford Elementary School (TES). OESU is an interconnected, forward-thinking educational system that serves a diverse and beautiful geographic region stretching from the historic valley of Thetford in the south up to the rolling hills of Groton in the north. Position Summary As a vital member of the OESU leadership team, the School Principal provides strategic instructional leadership, operational management, and community oversight for Thetford Elementary School. The primary focus of this role is to champion student achievement and growth while cultivating a safe, healthy, and positive school climate for all students and staff. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative communicator who can sustain a nurturing school culture, support staff development, and lead the implementation of proactive, positive behavioral frameworks (such as PBIS) to ensure every child thrives. Three (3) years of building-level administrative experience is desirable. Demonstrated experience providing leadership in an academic environment, preferred.
