Cashier - $15.50/hr.

Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide customer service. Describe menu items and answer questions. Quickly and accurately take orders and payments behind the cashier counter and in the drive‑through. Work with a sense of urgency to handle long lines. Act as a team player to help and serve others. Pass out food orders while correctly indicating order numbers. Take catering and take‑out orders over the phone. Check online, catering, and phone orders for accuracy, accept payment, serve alcoholic beverages (must be 21 years old), and assist guests in planning special events. Pay Base rate: $15.50 per hour. Additional $2 per hour for hours worked after 11:00 pm. Additional $2 per hour for work outside in temperatures below 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages. Must have worked at Portillo’s for at least 1 year with an average of a minimum of 20 hours over a 6‑month period.
