Assembly Technician

Job DescriptionAll the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Our Assembly Technicians are the hands behind that excellence, responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and validating the systems that become the backbone of our customers' operations.This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will work closely with technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to ensure every system leaving our facility meets the high standards associated with the AUTEC brand.ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components according to blueprints, work orders, schematics, and assembly instructions.Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to accurately build car wash systems and sub-assemblies.Perform basic wiring, plumbing, and component installation as part of equipment assembly.Verify proper fit, function, alignment, and operation of assembled components prior to final inspection.Conduct functional testing and operational checks to confirm system performance and identify adjustments or rework requirements.Communicate material shortages, engineering concerns, design issues, and process improvement opportunities to Supervisors and Engineering personnel.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with AUTEC's 5S and safety standards.Support cross-training initiatives and assist in other production areas as needed to meet company objectives.Adhere to all company policies, quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and safety requirements.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and productivity.Assist with troubleshooting assembly issues and support corrective actions when necessary.QualificationsEducation & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required.
