Accounting Associate / Human Resources Training Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting & Human Resources Coordinator to support both financial and HR operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for accounts payable administration, financial reporting support, account reconciliations, budgeting activities, recruitment coordination, onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and strong relationships across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial reporting, budgeting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and variance analysisAccounts payable processing, vendor setup/maintenance, and payment issue resolutionPurchase requisition review for accuracy and complianceFixed asset tracking, record maintenance, and reportingAudit support, including documentation preparation and audit requestsHourly recruiting support: sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, and recordkeepingNew hire onboarding, orientation, and DOJO training coordinationMonitor training progress and support employee development initiativesSalaried employee onboarding and orientation supportPartner with HR and Production leadership on staffing and recruiting needsEvaluate and improve training programs to support retention and developmentCoordinate employee engagement, recognition programs, and company eventsMaintain confidential employee, financial, and business recordsManage personnel files, onboarding documents, and employment records in compliance with company policies and legal requirementsQualificationsRequired:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of manufacturing experienceKnowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounts payable, reconciliations, and SOX requirementsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsTraining, presentation, interpersonal, and computer proficiencyAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and navigate ambiguitySelf-motivated, team-oriented professionalPreferred:Experience supporting both Accounting and Human Resources functionsExperience with employee onboarding, training, and engagement programsExperience with ERP, payroll, and/or HRIS systemsKnowledge of manufacturing operations, financial controls, and compliance requirementsInternal and external audit support experienceSalary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annuallySchedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift - OnsiteBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife and AD&D Insurance & Disability Coverage401(k) & Tuition ReimbursementPaid Vacation & HolidaysPRIMARY LOCATIONRomulus Foam #J-18808-Ljbffr Adient plc
