The right associate can realistically build to $1M in annual production, with income that reflects that level of contribution. While the position begins as a true associateship, there is a very real pathway to ownership for the right doctor. Dr. Buzza is open to selling the practice outright to the right person when alignment is clear. He would stay on under contract to ensure a smooth transition, promote goodwill with patients, and support the new owners success. This may not be the right opportunity if you are fresh out of dental school or still building foundational clinical skills. The pace and expectations here require someone who can confidently walk into a hygiene exam, diagnose what theyre seeing, and communicate a treatment plan to a fee-for-service patient without hesitation.
