Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing badge access, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, assist visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:45 AM - 06:15 PMTue05:45 AM - 06:15 PMWed05:45 AM - 06:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to transportation facility clients, visitors, passengers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to designated transportation areas by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access logs, and reporting unauthorized access attempts. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with access control and badges is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
