Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a government utility location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards. Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with established site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access control activities, and other security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
