Associate Attorney

About The Opportunity Our client is an established Pacific Northwest civil litigation law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its medical malpractice and general liability practices. The attorney will handle challenging litigation matters and advocate effectively on behalf of clients, including healthcare professionals and other professionals facing medical malpractice disputes, negligence claims, civil rights matters, licensing investigations, and regulatory issues. The firm offers a collegial and collaborative environment with an emphasis on proactive, innovative, and high-quality legal representation. Key Responsibilities Handle civil litigation matters involving medical malpractice, general liability, and related disputes. Represent healthcare professionals and other clients throughout the litigation process. Conduct legal research and develop case strategy. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents. Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff on complex matters. Manage multiple cases while maintaining deadlines and high standards of client service. Qualifications Active license to practice law in Washington. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. Experience in medical malpractice, general liability, professional liability, or a related civil litigation practice preferred. Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and case-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
