Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care to mixed Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit with a 5–6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. - Administer medications, monitor patient status, perform assessments, and update care plans in the electronic record. - Collaborate with the broader care team to implement orders and transition care safely on each shift. - Respond to changes in patient conditions, escalating to the appropriate team as needed; participate in handoffs and shift reports. - Support patient safety, infection control, pain management, mobility, and discharge planning while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. - Work on a dedicated education unit where travel nurses focus on patient care rather than teaching duties. Requirements - Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg experience or equivalent experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-to-large hospital setting.

• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Shift readiness: Ability to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.
• Skills: Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, documentation, and
