Fabrication Supervisor
Heat and Control, Inc
2:30 PM – 11 PM Second Shift
Job Duties
Supervise machining and sheet metal fabrication related operations. Monitor employee performance and address disciplinary issues.
Responsible for product quality, workmanship and methods applications and production schedules consistent with manufacturing objectives.
Anticipate production problems, material shortages, malfunctions and implement procedures to offset loss of schedule interruptions.
Diagnose tooling and equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacement.
Supervise housekeeping and be alert for hazardous conditions along with the Safety Manager.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school graduate or a vocational school graduate.
Reading blueprints is a must.
Requires hands on experience with CNC machining operations.
CNC programing skills are desired.
Two years minimum PRODUCTION OR MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORY experience.
Experience in Laser cutting, bending and forming sheet metal a plus.
