Family Law Attorney

Job Description Job Description Duties Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support attorneys in case preparation Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests Prepare and organize exhibits, evidence, and other documents for trial Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule hearings and depositions Maintain case files and update case management systems with relevant information Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and organizing documents Experience for the ideal candidate, but willing to train someone new to Family Law Proficiency in legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures in family law cases Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to draft legal documents accurately and efficiently Experience with case management software is preferred The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in family law. They should have experience conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting attorneys in all aspects of case preparation.
