Description American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring pressor titration skills and Epic experience. Details Nursing Float Pool unit within a hospital setting Patient ratios between 1:3 and 1:5 Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks while on shift 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights) 13-week assignment with weekly Monday start dates Requirements Active MA RN license required in hand BLS-AHA certification required ACLS-AHA and NIHSS certifications preferred Must be able to titrate pressors Level 1 trauma experience preferred, required if no prior travel experience Epic EMR experience required Must pass day one pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing Additional Information Care for progressive care patients with float coverage to multiple units as needed Day one competency testing administered with Relias practice tests available for preparation COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius, and local candidates are not accepted Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning First-time travelers may be considered if they meet Level 1 trauma requirements These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
