SimpliFi InterviewGeneral Information:Beds: 10Years of Experience? 2 yearsWill Accept a First-time traveler? First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute careTravelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staffPatient Types:Respiratory Failure, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Diabetes, Neuro (craniotomies, spinal surgery, TBI), Surgical patients (General, Total joints, Urology, Neuro)Patient Ratios:RN: 1:2Required Certifications:BLSACLSNIHSSSkills required:Stroke experience, Ventilator management, assist with intubation/extubation, CVL (management/placement), foley cath management, tube feedings via NGT or PEGTraveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN)Support on the Unit:Charge nurse: will take patient assignmentPhlebotomy? None on the unitIV/VAT Team available for PICC/midline placementResource Nurse - yesRT, 24/7Hospitalist, in houseOT, PT, STCharting System/Equipment:EMR: Meditech ExpanseIV Pumps: AlarisMedication dispensing: PyxisFloating:Units: Stepdown, Stroke unit, Medsurgcould float frequently to MedSurg ensure traveler comfortability during interviewOrientation:2 days hospital and (1) 12-hour shift on unitScheduling:Weekend rotation: every other weekendWill work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week this is mandatoryMay work 3/2 or 5/2 rotations, for example: 2 on 2 off, 5 on, 5 offSee yellow blocks below:Can we approve time off? up to 7 days must extend contract for any full week of RTODECLINE if more than 7 days of RTO-do not send for manager approvalMay only request (1) weekend of RTO per 13-week contractWill they be on call?
