CGP - Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash balances and record financial transactions, including intercompany transfers and client payments.
• Maintain general ledger accounts, project codes, and ensure data consistency across systems.
• Lead the monthly close process while supporting workflow improvements and internal controls.
• Plan check runs and ensure vendor payments are processed on time.
• Reconcile and post payroll and workers' compensation journal entries accurately.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Have at least 5+ years of accounting experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software, with Sage Intacct preferred; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Maintain a solid understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices.
• Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Display experience with project-based or multi-entity accounting processes.
• Assist with audit support and ensure compliance in financial reporting.
• Apply strong analytical and forecasting skills to manage budgeting and financial tracking.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
