If you can articulate your proven success in a tax support role, we want to hear from you ASAP!The Tax Associate provides dedicated support to the tax preparation team and works closely with the wealth advisors to provide tax-centric documents and planning support to high-net-worth families. This position requires flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.Mission Wealth has offered 360-degree wealth management services to affluent families since 2000. This gives them the complete picture and confidence in their financial future.Day-to-Day as a Tax AssociateWork with a high-performing & growth-oriented teamSpeak your mind, have your voice heard, innovate, and streamline existing processesGrow yourself personally and professionally with the support of your teamAssist with preparing federal and multi-state individual and trust income tax returns.Learn and effectively utilize tax preparation software to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance the quality of service to clients.Review documents and tax returns for accuracy.Perform tax technical research.Coordinate and communicate with other team members to perform job functions.Other various assigned projects associated with tax and wealth services.What You Bring as a Tax Associate:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldKnowledge of tax laws and conceptsFamiliarity with Form 1040 and/or Form 1041Strong technical skillsAttention to detail and ability to take initiative to meet deadlinesStrong communication skills (written/verbal) and professionalismAbility to work independently and remain flexible as priorities changeProficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExcellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-orientedAble to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitudeJob Type: Full-time, salaried non-exemptLocation: This position is based out of our office in Scottsdale.
