Role snapshot

• Own inbound receiving and outbound shipping processes for customer parts headed to Ionbond’s premium coating services.
• Partner closely with Customer Service to align on timelines, specs, and updates.
• Enter orders with accuracy into the ERP; ensure pre-coat requirements are complete.
• Inspect, measure, document, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders using calipers, tape measures, scales, and visual aids.
• Maintain supply inventories and serve as backup driver for the company van.
• Load/unload trucks with a walk-behind forklift; pitch in with additional duties as assigned.

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• On-site in Madison Heights, MI

What you need to succeed

• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred
• 1–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing
• Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
• Hands-on experience with FedEx, UPS, FedEx Ship Manager, and UPS WorldShip
• Ability to read 6-point font, differentiate colors, and stay comfortable while sitting/standing for long periods
• Proficiency with MS Office and accurate typing
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and time management
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. and safely operate a walk-behind forklift
